While the modern world has brought many conveniences to humanity, it has also introduced many other problems that are invisible or often ignored even when they are seen. The most prominent of these is fear.

Unlike in ancient times, people may not find themselves in the middle of a war at any moment, nor do they expect to become the prey of a wild animal at night. However, even if it cannot always be explained, the feeling of fear that a person deeply senses within themselves is always close at hand. As the world has become more crowded, societies have grown more distant from one another, and the individuality brought by technology has increased. As a result, loneliness—one of the issues people suffer from the most—has pushed individuals into a relentless sense of fear.

In the past, people living collectively or in small settlements such as villages and towns felt a strong sense of peace and security. They knew that others were around them and that in times of need there would be people who could help or protect them. However, when individuals leave their families, communities, or even their hometowns due to education or other reasons, they often begin to feel extremely lonely and helpless.

This situation also brings with it a sense of fear. It has become quite common for a person to feel insecure not only about the outside world but even about the house right next to them.

Interestingly, this transformation in human life—spanning thousands of years—has occurred within a very short period of time. And it appears that humanity has adapted to this change rather quickly.
In this situation, individuals have first prioritized ensuring that their living spaces are secure; as long as their circumstances and financial means allow, they try to create environments in which they can feel safe.

The home has become more than just a structure where a person lives; it has turned into a person’s entire world. This, in turn, has given people the responsibility of protecting their world.

Steel doors have become one of the greatest necessities of modern life, both physically and psychologically. Being confident in the strength of their door—and therefore in the fact that no one can intrude upon their private life or their world—provides people with peace of mind. It allows them to feel safe and helps them distance themselves from fear, one of humanity’s greatest concerns.
